Our Children's services include the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and our Neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at St Michael's Hospital are excited to offer opportunities for Band 3 Senior Health Care Support Workers to join our dedicated and caring team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to children and young people.
As a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people with their healthcare needs. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, delivering high-quality care in our Tertiary Children's services.
Assessment centre date will be held on Wednesday the 26th of November.
Main duties of the job
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Supporting the clinical team with observations and treatments.
Assisting with personal care and ensuring the well-being of patients.
Providing emotional and practical support to children, young people and their families.
Helping maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment.
Working closely with other healthcare professionals in a team
