Job Title: Healthcare Technology Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Healthcare Technology Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare technology projects focused on providing rationalised clinical documentation across multiple NHS Trusts. This role requires a strong understanding of both project management methodologies and the unique challenges of healthcare IT environments, such as compliance with clinical guidelines, interoperability, and alignment with clinical workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles in healthcare technology initiatives. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Collaborate with stakeholders including clinicians, IT staff, vendors, and leadership to define project scope and objectives. Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies. Track and report project status, progress, and KPIs to stakeholders and executives. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., NICE) and security best practices. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third-party implementations when applicable. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of work.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, including 2+ years in healthcare IT or digital health. Strong understanding of healthcare technology systems (EHR/EMR, PACS, HL7/FHIR integration, etc.). Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Trello). Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrixed environments. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy and security. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong coordination skill and stakeholder management.
Desirable Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile certification. Experience with major EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts). Knowledge of clinical workflows and terminology. Background in healthcare operations or clinical settings is a strong plus.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 371.00-509.00 per day
