The Role

As a Hybrid Healthy Lifestyle App Coach, you will be a motivating and empathetic digital coach, supporting individuals across the UK on their personal wellbeing journeys through our online health and lifestyle platform Stop For Life and other in creation of ICE.

You'll engage with users through in-app messaging and guided digital content, providing tailored support to help them stop smoking, eat well, move more, and improve overall wellbeing. You'll be part of our Enablement Hub team, ensuring every user feels heard, supported, and empowered to make sustainable changes.

Role is mostly remote with some in person team meetings each month and where required face to face client support. You'll deliver high-quality digital coaching while staying connected with your colleagues through regular virtual meetings and occasional office days for training, team collaboration, and service delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities



Engage and support individuals across UK communities where health inequalities exist. Communicate effectively with users through digital platforms to promote healthier lifestyle choices. Motivate individuals to make behaviour changes that improve their health and wellbeing. Manage your own caseload, time, and activities to ensure consistent, high-quality support. Work flexibly across the week, including some evenings and weekends, to meet service needs. Travel occasionally across the UK for meetings, training, and to support other lifestyle contracts.
You will support across all Healthy Lifestyle services.

Salary: 25,000 per annum.

Hours of work will be across Monday - Sunday 8am to 8pm. Flexible hours are required to meet the needs of the service, including evening/weekend work in agreement with your manager.

Core hours for this role are Sunday- Thursday 11:30am - 8pm where the above is not needed with 1 hour lunch.

What you'll do?

Engage with individuals in allocated UK wide communities where health inequalities exist. Communicate with individuals about health and lifestyle improvement; centered around: Weight Management. Smoking Cessation. Physical Activity. Alcohol consumption NHS Health Checks Support and enable individuals to change their behavior to improve their health. Manage and organise own time and activities to support individuals in the community. Providing brief intervention advice and offering support with self-care. Promoting and encouraging a healthier lifestyle though recommendations based on current recommended guidelines. Supporting the team to develop and deliver excellent client experience. Supporting the Service to maximise engagement opportunities to promote the service and referrals from clients and wider stakeholders - via digital and in person activities. Be positive and optimistic and have an excellent telephone manner. Accurate data entry of clients' results and appropriate pathway guidance. Attend team meeting and training as required. Undertake training to be able to deliver NHS Health Checks as and when needed across other ICE locations. Work as part of the team to facilitate any digital or in person engagement events and activities. Active member of the ICE team contributing ideas, innovation and attending all team meetings and working groups. Supporting the wider support team at ICE where required. Undertake all mandatory training requirements. Seek ways to continuously improve the role and service delivery. Be flexible in your approach - supporting evening and weekend work where required in consultation with your line manager. Attend regular performance reviews with your line manager. Willing to participate in a myriad of training courses designed to help be your best in this role. What you'll bring

IT literate and able to confidently use online methods of communication. You will also need to have a good eye for detail and be accurate with data input and reporting.
Must be a confident communicator and have a professional telephone manner.

Prior Office / Admin Management experience.

Experience of managing stock control processes.

Experience of working with a variety of professionals.

Knowledge and awareness of customer care.

Ability to prioritise workload and work on own initiative in a pressurised environment.

Confident to act on own initiative with minimal supervision.

Ability to work with and establish good working relationships at all levels with different disciplines both internal in ICE and external.

Able to communicate appropriately with a range of people from differing backgrounds.

Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of Confidentiality & Equal Opportunities.
