Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting hearing tests, fitting, adjusting, and maintaining hearing aids for clients with hearing impairments. Your expertise will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for individuals by providing them with the necessary auditory support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of all aspects of Audiology care. Wax removal experience is also preferred, but if not, this can be added. The candidate

MUST

be a registered Hearing Aid Dispenser with the HCPC.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' hearing needs through interviews and audiometric testing. Fit and adjust hearing aids according to individual specifications and preferences. Provide clients with guidance on the proper use and care of their hearing aids. Maintain accurate records of client consultations, fittings, and follow-up appointments. Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Educate clients about the latest advancements in hearing aid technology and options available to them. Experience in ear wax removal is preferred, but if not, training can be given. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in hearing aid technology.

Skills



Proficient understanding of audiology and hearing devices. Strong knowledge of physiology as it pertains to auditory functions. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues. Strong attention to detail when assessing client needs and fitting devices. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Empathy and patience when dealing with clients experiencing hearing difficulties.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
