Requirements

Hold a BPEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heat Pump Installation and design of low temperature heating systems / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in heating and plumbing & Unvented hot water storage systems (G3) qualification. Hold a manual driving licence that enables you to drive in the UK. Have experience of installing Heat Pumps, along with comprehensive knowledge of the installation of central heating systems. Have knowledge of Unvented Hot Water G3 Regulations. Be willing to learn & install new technology. Willing to work to the highest standards of health and safety. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills Be physically able to carry out the installations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and inspecting heating equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues
- Assemble and disassemble heating system components as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines

Skills:
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment or materials as required
- Assembly: Proficient in assembling heating system components accurately and efficiently
- Commercial driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for transportation to job sites
- Hand tools: Familiarity with various hand tools used in the installation and repair of heating systems
- Power tools: Experience using power tools safely and effectively
- Basic math skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for measurements and materials
- Mechanical knowledge: Understanding of mechanical systems and their operation
- Welding: Knowledge of welding techniques for heating system repairs or modifications
- Plumbing: Familiarity with plumbing systems related to heating systems
- Carpentry: Basic carpentry skills for framing or installing heating system components

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
