We are Rural and Country Energy, a 12-year established, respected and award-winning Renewable Energy Installations Company.

Having achieved over a decade of steady growth in the industry we now require a Service Engineer to support our ever-growing Heat Pump fleet.

You will ideally have Heat Pump experience and be looking to move into a more fault-finding and repairing role, but we will also consider applications from fossil-fuel-sector Service Engineers who can prove their experience and who are looking to move into the Renewables sector.

This is a serious career opportunity for the right candidate who wants to join an established Company and grow with them. We are not new entrants to the market, or looking to place short-term sub-contractors.

Our engineers work at the very top of their game. Our service engineers are key to ensuring great levels of client care and rapid rectification of any on-site breakdowns.

35,000-42,000 salary dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Performing routine servicing and maintenance of Air-Source and Ground-Source heat pumps. Diagnosing and repairing faults in heat pump systems. Conducting system performance tests and ensuring optimal operation. Providing technical support and advice to customers. Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Heat Pump Service Engineer or similar role within the Gas, or Oil Heating sectors Relevant qualifications in plumbing, heating, or renewable energy (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or C&G equivalent) and G3 Unvented cylinders as a minimum. BPEC heat pumps, FGAS certification, or equivalent are bonuses. Strong knowledge of heat pump systems, controls, and diagnostics, or the willingness to learn. Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and plumbing components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Full UK driving license (if applicable). Strong customer service and communication skills. Good written and verbal communication skills

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
