Job description

We are looking for a Heating Surveyor to join our Property Services team on a permanent basis. This is a varied role which includes dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

To meet the requirements of this exciting role you must have knowledge, experience and/or expertise in plumbing and heating activities and contract management skills as you will be responsible for effectively managing heating systems and compliance of various fuel types in occupied domestic dwellings across the district in respect of inspection, service repair and replacement of equipment.

You will be organised and self-motivated but also able to work effectively as part of a team to bring about desired outcomes. We pride ourselves in providing an excellent customer service and will therefore expect you to be able to contribute to this with strong interpersonal skills".

The Council operates a hybrid working policy, where teams determine their own working arrangements to fit their individual and team needs.
