Family flour milling business Stoate & Sons is looking to recruit a part time position to assist in maintaining a clean environment and delivering goods to our business customers.

The position will involve cleaning of the work areas and equipment via a cleaning schedule, keeping up with the maintenance plan such as greasing machinery, cleaning filters ect and making deliveries to our bakery customers in our medium wheelbase van. Full training is provided so no previous experience in any of these fields are required.

The main hours of the job are below:

Between Saturday and Sunday 16 hours of cleaning needs to be done. There is no set times you need to start or finish as long as those hours are met Every other Tuesday there will be a delivery to Wales that takes around 8 hours Every other Friday there will be a delivery to Deven that takes around 8 hours Every 3rd Monday there will be a local delivery that takes around 2-4 hours There will be the odd Thursday (a few times a year) to cover the Bristol run that is around 6 hours Potential cover of our other drivers when they book leave.
Applicants will be fit and energetic with good communication skills, the ability to handle 25Kg sacks of flour consecutively, basic IT skills, a valid driving licence, flexible approach towards working routine, a positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility along with being able to work both in a team and on your own.

The position is for 24 hours per week and every 3rd week is 28 hours this could increase to 34 hours when covering runs or doing the Bristol run with prior notice.

We are offering 13 an hour for this position.
