34,500 per annum (47.5 hours) + Saturday overtime

Hours:

Mon-Fri 7 am-5 pm, Sat 7 am-12 pm (overtime rate)

The Role

As our new Class 1 driver, you'll:

Safely operate Class 1 HGVs to deliver timber, aggregates and building products to merchants and sites Occasionally jump into a Class 2 vehicle for smaller drop-offs to business premises and households Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly Secure flatbed loads in line with legal weight limits and safety standards Keep accurate, timely delivery records and communicate proactively with base and customers Uphold NWTT's high standards of customer care and company policies
What We Need from You

Minimum 2 years' Class 1 HGV driving experience Valid CPC and Digi-tacho card Clean driving record (any live offences to be disclosed at interview) Strong customer-service skills - warm, friendly & professional in every interaction Hiab (crane) qualification is a bonus, but not essential Commitment to safety for yourself, your load and the public
