Summary

We are seeking a number of Heavy Machine Operators to join our team at Shap Pink Quarry, Penrith. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our operations by ensuring the efficient operation of machinery used in the production of stone materials and concrete.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery safely and efficiently in quarry operations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times. Assist in loading and unloading materials as necessary. Maintain accurate records of machine operations and maintenance activities. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heavy Machine Operator or similar role in the aggregates or construction industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues. Familiarity with excavators or similar heavy machinery is preferred. Valid commercial driving license is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Hours - Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm and alternate Saturdays 6am to 1pm. (Saturdays paid at time and a half).
