Summary
We are seeking a skilled Print Operator to join our dynamic team in Leicester. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our production process, ensuring the highest quality standards are met while contributing to our mission of excellence in printing.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain printing machinery to produce high-quality printed materials.
Previous experience running a Die Cutting machine is required.
Previous experience running a Print Finishing machines is required.
Set up jobs according to specifications and ensure accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines efficiently.
Monitor print finishing quality throughout the production process and make adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
Package: 40+ hours per week.
May be required to work Saturdays and possibly shift work when required.
Proven mechanical knowledge and experience operating print finishing machinery.
Experiance:
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Proficiency in using printing finishing equiptment, Guillotine / Die Cutting / Stitching (Muller Martini) / Folding would be advantageous
Experience with heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with production work.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to finishing processes.
