We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Administrator to provide comprehensive support and assistance within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client requests, 4 glaziers, route planning and quoting jobs, and running the help desk 2 days a week to allow for the business to grow sales. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring seamless IT operations across various platforms and systems.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to client requests via the help desk system, providing effective solutions and updates to their needs.
Support desktop environments across Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance.
Manage our glaziers day and allocate jobs then quote, or allocate jobs and invoice.
Assist sales and marketing with reports and weekly updates
Maintain and support ongoing projects
Monitor work flow and on going targets.
Document incidents and resolutions accurately within ticketing systems to facilitate ongoing support improvements.
send clients updates once jobs are complete
Ensure H&S is paramount.
Skills
Strong knowledge of computer systems as numerous are used to run the business
Proven experience in desktop work
Proficiency in managing others diaries
Familiarity with reactive maintenance works.
Excellent support skills with the ability to solve problems for customers and staff
Good understanding of glass industry/works is preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly to clients
Organised approach with attention to detail
Strong phone manor and personality, with confidence
