The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated
Helpdesk Manager
to lead and develop our helpdesk operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for effectively managing remote technicians, administrative staff, systems, and processes to ensure outstanding service levels while driving increased revenue and profitability.
You will be a hands-on, team-focused manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a perfect cultural fit with Craftex values.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and manage remote technicians and helpdesk/admin staff
Ensure industry-leading customer service levels across all helpdesk operations
Oversee and continuously improve systems, workflows, and processes
Monitor KPIs, service levels, and performance, taking action where needed
Drive revenue growth and profitability through efficient scheduling, upselling, and process optimisation
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members
Act as a point of escalation for complex technical or customer issues
Work closely with senior management and other departments to align objectives
About You
Proven experience in a helpdesk, service management, or operations management role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate remote teams
Excellent people skills - approachable, supportive, and firm when required
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using service management systems, CRM tools, and reporting
Commercially minded, with a focus on efficiency, revenue, and profitability
A collaborative, team-playing manager who leads by example
