HERDSPERSON REQUIRED
Tattenhall, Cheshire, CH3
Due to an employee leaving for personal reasons, we have an opportunity to join our experienced team.
Candidate must have some dairy farming experience and a full UK driving licence.
Milking 650 spring calving cows on a 50 point Waikato rotary parlour.
Grazing unit, housed in winter.
Closed herd, rear all our own youngstock.
High quality facilities, with animal welfare a priority.
Avg yield 7,500 litres.
Twice a day milking.
Duties to include - milking, managing feed incl grass measuring, herd health & fertility, general stockwork, yard & tractor work, bedding down animals when required.
Attractive salary available for the right candidate. NEST pension scheme available.
3 bed semi detached house available with the role, free of rent and council tax.
Training on and off farm can be provided.
