We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team in our exciting sports bar in Hereford. We are an independent exciting and competitive business. As soon as our customers walk through the door, they will get that high energy buzz rush through them whilst feeling that competitive drive and you will be leading the team that delivers on that!

We offer our customers a range of sports on over 20 screens as well as fun games including shuffleboard, beer pong, interactive darts and pool. With a great food menu and fun drinks we will have an offering for everyone.

You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the venue and managing the team. We are an independent business so you will have the flexibility to help drive your own strategy and put your own stamp on the business. This would be a great step up for an existing Assistant Manager or an experienced hospitality supervisor looking for that next step up in a role with more creativity. You will be working closely with the General Manager and other Assistant manager. You will be responsible for the successful running of the venue -continually driving your team and sales. We need you to be creative - whether that's posting on social media, coming up with a new events or changing the menus.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of running the venue day to day, lush t with the GM when needed

Managing and training the team including appraisals and rotas

To provide excellent customer service and deal with any customer complaints

Proactive in driving sales through advertising and running events

Manage social media

Tight control over costs

Overseeing the kitchen team

Ordering of all areas

Open and closing of the building

Ensuring the completion of paperwork and ensuring H/S/ compliance is maintained at all times

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

Essential Experience:

- Previous hospitality management experience preferred

Required Hours:



A range of shifts including weekdays and weekends (Note weekend working essential as a lot of sales fall fri night - sunday)

Contracts - core salaries contract of 45hours/ week over 5 days

Benefits:

- Pay - a base pay of 31,590 / year (on 45h / week)

- Bonus scheme based In venues performance

- 28 days holiday
