We are seeking a skilled Class 2 Driver with strong manual handling abilities to join our dynamic team. This role goes beyond driving--it involves hands-on loading, packing furniture, and leading small teams during relocations and installations.
Key Responsibilities
Driving and Manual Handling Safely operate rigid commercial vehicles up to 18t, while also loading and packing furniture
Team Leadership Lead and manage small teams during relocations and installations
Project Management Manage small moves and projects, ensuring compliance with company and legislative requirements
Safety Ensure safe handling, transportation, and installation of furniture and equipment
Training Educate and develop team members in best practices and standards
Compliance Maintain company standards, including Waste Transfer Notes and daily vehicle checks
About You
Licenses and Certifications Full Cat C licence, Drivers CPC & DQC
Desirable Certifications FORS, ADR classifications, CSCS Card, IOSH Working Safely or equivalent, Asbestos Awareness
Experience Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver in logistics or relocation, with strong manual handling skills
Skills Strong leadership, safety-conscious, and excellent communication skills
