Job Description

We are looking for HGV class 1 (CE) general (box trailers) and/ or container drivers for day work out of Portsmouth.

We are offering:

A simple registration process for HGV class 1 drivers

Regular work with a well know company - weekday and weekend work available.

Minimum of 10 hours pay per shift and no break deductions

Modern vehicles

18 per hour for Ltd or 15.75 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday, increased rates for weekend work (up to 23 ph)

Essential requirements:

Valid HGV class 1 (CE) Driving Licence. Held for a minimum of 2 year with some container experience.

Valid driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.

Valid TAC (DP World Card), or willing to acquire one if you would like to work with containers.

Relevant knowledge of EU driver hour rules and working time legislation.

Over 25 for insurance purposes.

No more than 6 points on your licence with none of the following codes: AC, BA, CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, TT or UT
