Job Description

Glevum Transport Limited (General haulage division) are currently seeking to recruit an HGV class 1 tramper driver based in Cricklade near Swindon. The work is Monday to Friday and 4 nights out a week. All Uk work mainly on a curtainsider. Most of the loads are forklift delivery, on an odd occasion you might need to unload using a pallet truck. Optional Saturdays where available and Sunday run outs are sometimes offered but not compulsory. Weekend work, night out money plus meal allowance is in addition to the salary quoted. The applicant should ideally have 2 years class 1 experience with a good knowledge of the Uk road network, must have a valid driver CPC and Digi card. The successful applicant will be assigned a truck and trailer, no cab hopping unless due to a vehicle being VOR. We are looking for a motivated individual of smart appearance that will represent the company in the correct manor. Must have a good knowledge of the Uk road network and be able to plan journeys accordingly. Uniform will be supplied after probationary period, required PPE will be supplied on the start day. Company pension after 3 months of service. Paid periodic drivers CPC. 28 days paid holiday.

Pay: 39,000.00-40,000.00 per year
