We are currently recruiting Class 1 Drivers to expand our bank of drivers to work on our European & UK touring work - THIS IS TRAMPING JOB



Are you a passionate and experienced HGV 1 driver, looking for exciting opportunities in the world of music? We are seeking dedicated HGV 1 drivers to join our dynamic team, responsible for transporting artists, equipment, and production materials across the UK and Europe for major tours and events.

Various Locations (Touring across the UK and Europe)

Contract Type:

Full-time, Seasonal Tour Work, Mid-April until September.

Typical shift:

You will be transporting equipment for tours and festivals across Europe for well-known bands and artists. The tours can be anywhere between 4 days and 2 weeks in length. As a guide an example itinerary may be:



Day 1 - Fly out - Day 2 rest during the day - Drive overnight between day 2 and 3 - Day 3 complete drive and rest - Day 4 - Fly home: On longer tours you will have additional rest days and repetitions of Day 2 and 3. You will be put up in hotels for your rest periods. You will be paid for every day of the tour regardless as to whether it is a Drive/Rest/Travel Day.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely drive HGV 1 vehicles to transport crew, equipment, and merchandise to various tour locations in UK and Europe. Adhere to all road safety and compliance regulations. Manage vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure reliability on the road. Collaborate with tour managers and Transport teams for seamless logistics. Be an ambassador for our brand, always representing professionalism.

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 license with a clean driving record - EU CPC preferred.

BE ABLE TO DRIVE MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC TRUCKS

Have a valid passport. Experience with long-distance driving and transporting sensitive equipment in Europe.

Minimum 2 years of experience driving in Europe

Flexible scheduling to accommodate the demands of the tour Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends away in Europe. A genuine passion for music and the entertainment industry. Be able to work in a multi-truck group, under the direction of the lead driver Must be prepared to be on your feet for several hours during loading periods

A valid Class 1 EU CPC

Manual experience required with no automatic restriction. Willing to stay out on tour for extended periods of time either on a tour or corporate job.
