Job Overview


We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team, working nights on a 5 from 7 shift pattern.

shifts start times vary between 16.00 - 21.00 and all shifts are approximately 12 hours long.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities



Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while considering traffic conditions. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to safety and operational standards.

Qualifications



Valid CE licence Valid in date DQC and Driver card New passes welcome each driver will be required to pass a drugs and alcohol test and a background check. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for transporting goods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
