HGV 1 Tanker - Tramping

Shift: Monday - Friday Tramping

Type of work: Powder Tanks

2 Week Tanker Training

The role of an Abbey Logistics HGV 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently, deliver customer products using powder tanks throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

Loading and unloading of Powder Tanks Keeping your vehicle in clean condition Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries Working at heights Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines Involves connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading. Requires climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals. Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses.

What We're Looking For:

HGV 1 Licence for a minimum of 12 months

- Max 6 penalty points

Valid DCPC Card

Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
