Job Description
Primary objective of this position
: To deliver goods across the UK from our Leeds siteKey responsibilities and performance measures for this role
:Check load prior to route, ensuring that you have the necessary paperwork for your load.
Occasionally assist in unloading at delivery sites.
Ensure all deliveries are signed for and paperwork is complete.
To communicate any problems with the Transport Manager and / or customer.
To be flexible in your approach of overtime requirements to satisfy customer
requirements.
Ensure that your vehicle is well maintained and defects are reported immediately.
Assist in warehouse duties as and when required when on site
Ensure that you understand and comply with Health and Safety at Work and Road safety
regulations at all times.
To always present a professional image of oneself, the department and the company.
....and any other duties required to support the achievement of the Company's objectives
Minimum Qualifications / Experience required:
Must hold HGV 2 License
Must have 2 years + previous experience of multi-drop deliveries
Must possess good organisational skills in terms of delivery paperwork
Additional skill requirements:
Must be physically fit as some lifting will be required
FLT License beneficial but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
