HGV 2 Drivers Needed - On Going Contract

Driver Provider UK are looking for HGV 2 drivers for on-going work delivering multi temperature goods on roll cages to various shops and petrol forecourts for our client based in Erith.

Job Role:

Deliver to the South East of the country ( Colchester to Brighton)


Delivering high value items such as cigarettes & alcohol.


Roll cages can weigh up to 400kgs


Average around 6 drops per trip.


Average 10 hour days but will be 40 hours over 4 days

Start times between:

AM 05:00-11:00


PM 11:00 - 15:00

Working days: (on rotation)

AM's Monday ,Tuesday , Wednesday and Saturdays


PM's Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday and Fridays

HGV 2 Pay Rates: ( PAYE )

AM PAY RATES:

Basic Pay: 18.22


OT Rate : 23.56

PM PAY RATES:

Basic Pay: 18.75


OT Rate : 23.56


Candidates will need to be assessed which takes around two hours (Unpaid)


Once driver has passed assessment, there is a structured training programme that will take around 7-10 days. (Paid)


After completing 12 weeks you have the option of going perm with the client.
