Arrow Removals has now been trading for nearly 20years and we are seeking another professional driver / removal porter to join our team. We offer good working conditions with good job security for the right candidate.

The job requires the loading and offloading of furniture and personal processions for a domestic house removal. The driving of a 7.5 tonne lorry to and from the removals, this can be anywhere in Northern Ireland with regular removals to and from GB. This job requires regular nights away from home either staying in a hotel or overnight on a ferry.

There is no over night sleeping in a vehicle sleeper cab.

A good rate of pay, minimum guaranteed hours per week 36 and

overtime paid at a premium on hours over 36 per week.

There is also a twice yearly bonus for excellent performance and customer service.

The ability to communicate with clients to understand their needs and be able to complete their removal in a polite, professional, and efficient manner. To be able to work in a small friendly team in a professional and friendly manner both with your teammates and clients.

Training will be provided on how to carry out a removals and the loading of the lorry etc.

Training will ensure the safe loading and offloading of the clients goods in line with our company training and procedures. This job does require the ability to lift furniture and similar objects over the course of a day.

HGV licence, CPC and digital Taco, one years full time HGV driving experience

The ability to lift furniture over the period of a day.

Good communication skills, with both colleagues and clients.

Ability to problem solve and work in a logical manner.

Good knowledge of Northern Ireland roads and towns and some of GB

Experience in handling furniture or similar items is preferred.

Ability to work to a timescale in order to meet the requirement of the clients removal

Experience of building flat furniture would be advantageous.

Pay: 16.50-18.00 per hour
