Job Overview

We are a dynamic new company seeking a skilled and reliable HGV C1 Driver (tramper) to join our logistics team in Preston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively. Experience with curtain-side trailers is highly desirable.

Duties

Start Date:

Must be able to start on: 21 of July - Temporary 2 weeks contract*

Operate a MAN 70 Plate HGV

in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. A minimum of two Years' experience in HGV C1 is required

.

Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads on trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely manner.

Experience & Benefits

Proven experience

as a Commercial HGV C1 Delivery Driver is essential. Familiarity with

curtain-side trailer

operations is very

important.

Valid Drivers CPC qualification & Digi Card Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. A good understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures will be beneficial.

LTD Company or Self-Employed - 1200 per week (Monday to friday), which includes nights out

Fixed and punctual weekly payment.

All 70 Plate New Shape MAN TGX 510 come with a fitted Microwave
