We are looking for a reliable

HGV C+E Container driver (tramper)

to join our transport team in Blackburn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.

Experience in the container industry is essential.

Duties

Start Date: Immediate

Operate a New Shape MAN HGV in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. A minimum of two years' experience in HGV C1 is required. Safely load and unload containers, ensuring proper securing of container on trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit. Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring that goods are delivered timely.

Proven experience as a Commercial

HGV C1 Container Delivery Driver

is essential. Familiarity with skelly trailer operations is essential. Valid Drivers CPC qualification & Digi Card Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best driving practices. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. A good understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures will be beneficial.

PAYE - 800 per week (Monday to Friday) + 25 nights out

LTD and Self-Employed Drivers also welcome at 1000 per week, including nights out

This work is straightforward, and you will be well-supported by our planners.
