We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Duties

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe working condition Secure cargo properly to prevent movement or damage during transit Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays Follow all road safety laws and company policies during transportation activities

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed lorries Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices in freight transportation Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as loading and securing cargo on flatbeds Good organisational skills for route planning and record keeping Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
