Job Description

The Malcolm Group is a privately owned and highly successful logistics, construction, and maintenance business, employing over 2,000 people across the UK. Our logistics division operates 450 trucks and services several blue-chip customers.

We are currently looking for experienced Drivers to join our team at our Newhouse site.

Working rosters available:

Dayshift - Mon-Fri

Nightshift - Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities:

Nationwide deliveries and collections of third-party products using curtain-sided vehicles and containers Ensuring goods are transported in a safe and efficient manner, meeting client and company standards Completing all necessary paperwork and maintaining accurate records for each load Performing pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, reporting any defects or issues Ensuring compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies Providing excellent customer service with a professional attitude and good communication skills

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence is essential Completed Driver CPC certification Minimum one years experience as a Class 1 driver preferred A professional attitude with a strong focus on safety and efficiency Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
