Summary
We are seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our team at Solaris Logistics. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Your contributions will be vital in helping us uphold our reputation as a trusted logistics partner.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a truck to transport goods to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries made.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
Ensure cargo is secured properly before departure and during transit.
Requirements
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with flatbed experience.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Occassional tramping.
