Hgv Class 1 / 2 & Hiab Drivers Required
Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking reliable and experienced drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a great opportunity for someone with commercial driving experience who enjoys being on the road. 12.80 - 13.20 per hour depending on experience - time and a half after 45 hours.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery truck to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Perform routine inspections on the truck
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
Experience:
- Valid HGV licence
- Proven experience as a driver
- Experience with HIAB and tipper trucks is preferred
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills
We supply building products, landscaping products and aggregates all over the north Lancashire and Cumbria area. Working out of the depot in Milnthorpe and various local quarries there is plenty of variety in the role.
