We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team for our client based in Amesbury.
The successful candidates will be responsible for store deliveries, for a major haulier, across their UK network.
We are looking for drivers available for day shifts and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off OR a 5 on 3 off (working rota). Start times vary days between 0500-1100 and nights 1700-2200. There is also the opportunity for as hoc work.
Drivers will use tail lifts to move roll cages from the trailer to store and will self tip. Additionally, there is the potential for a permanent position for those who are interested.
Pay Rate per shift, inclusive of holiday pay:
Days 190.52 Sat AM 212.93 Sun AM 218.54
Nights 212.93 Sat PM 235.35 Sun PM 240.95
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for transportation of goods.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of driving hours and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with planners and management.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 driver's license.
Previous experience - a minimum of 2 year's experience.
Strong understanding of road safety and regulations.
Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
6 points or less.
