We are currently seeking reliable and experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team for our client based in Skelmersdale.

The successful candidates will be responsible for store deliveries, for a major haulier, across their UK network.

We are looking for drivers available for day shifts and night shifts on a 4 on 4 off (working rota). Start times vary days between 0500-1100 and nights 1700-2200.

Drivers will use tail lifts to move roll cages from the trailer to store and will self tip. Additionally, there is the potential for a permanent position for those who are interested.

Pay Rate per shift, inclusive of holiday pay:

Days 173.71 Sat AM 190.52 Sun AM 201.73 Nights 190.52 Sat PM 212.93 Sun PM 224.14

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for transportation of goods. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues. Follow all road safety regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate records of driving hours and deliveries. Communicate effectively with planners and management.

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 driver's license. Previous experience - a minimum of 2 year's experience. Strong understanding of road safety and regulations. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. 6 points or less.
