Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with container vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate container lorries to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items on the flatbed. Perform routine maintenance checks on the lorry to ensure optimal performance. Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within commercial driving. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Ability to operate flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Attention to detail in handling paperwork and cargo securing processes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
