Pay Rates

Day Shift:

Up to 17.00 per hour

Night Shift:

Up to 17.25 per hour
Shift Times

Day Shift Start:

Between 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Night Shift Start:

Between 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Shift Length:

Minimum 9 hours | Maximum 13-14 hours Overtime may be available depending on business needs
Job Overview

We are currently recruiting reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for both day and night shifts. This role involves depot-to-depot deliveries with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professional service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent driving standards and a commitment to compliance with UK transport regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure all safety checks are completed Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently Complete depot-to-depot drops as scheduled Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driving records Communicate effectively with the transport office and site staff Adhere strictly to company procedures, UK road laws, Drivers' Hours rules, and Working Time Directive regulations Report any defects, delays, or incidents promptly
Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card 6-12 months Class 1 experience preferred (but not essential) Must have the Amazon Driving App Good communication and time-management skills Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
