We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a Skeleton trailer. Customer service and time keeping are paramount. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various routes while adhering to all traffic regulations. Responsibilities

Operate a container lorry to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner. Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance or repair needs. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by regulations. Communicate effectively with office staff and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Follow all local traffic laws and regulations while on the road.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a class 1 driver driver, preferably with containers. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
