Our aim is to be recognised as Yorkshire & The North Easts premier provider of logistics and transport services by achieving sales growth whilst maintaining customer retention, staff retention and our customer focused ethos. YDL are currently looking for experienced hard working professional drivers to join our skilled delivery team.

Our drivers complete localised collection and delivery routes in the DL, DH & TS postcode area. Delivering to multiple destinations within a pre planned route, collecting from customer premises and returning to base.

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a Class1 Driver with FLT experience to join our team loading and delivering.

Job description

YDL are seeking skilled Class1 driver to join our North East depot at Newton Aycliffe. Working as part of our busy transport operation you will be integral to helping deliver and collect from our large customer base. The job is multi drop/collection throughout a large portion of the DL, DH & TS postcode area. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial however full training will be provided.

Essential daily tasks will include

Checking your vehicle before/during/after use Securing loads Delivering a pre planned delivery route Collecting from customers ensuring freight is labelled on collection and ready for onward travel
We are looking for reliable, punctual and well presented staff to join our growing operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00 per hour
