Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and demonstrate the ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and efficiently. This role involves transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance on the road.
Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, box trucks, flatbeds, for the transportation of freight. Execute route driving tasks to ensure timely delivery of goods. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours of service. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating vehicles in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 license with a clean driving record. 12 months experience preferred Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
