Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to haul straw into renewable energy power stations. mainly based around east anglia. Nights out are required. trucks leave Monday and return back to base Friday evening. occasional weekend work Is available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. Experience with flatbed and commercial driving is highly desirable, along with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals to get into the agricultural side of the haulage industry.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies. Safely secure bales to prevent damage during transit. adhering to legal driving hours. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after journeys, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation. Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues. Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally and courteously.

Requirements

Valid driving licence suitable for operating large commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries. Proven experience as a HGV driver preferably with flatbed operation. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Good physical fitness when securing loads. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Prior experience within agriculture or HGV roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary. Pay: 170.00-196.20 per day
