Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Tramper Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles,curtains, tankers and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit. Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent navigational skills and ability to read maps or use GPS systems effectively. Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and clients. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
