Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team in the UK. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of safety. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional transport services.
Responsibilities
Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients.
Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with flatbed trucks.
Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
Excellent driving record with no major violations.
Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
