Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in curtainside/tipping operations being highly desirable. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.
Nights out or home everynight possible
Responsibilities
Operate curtainside lorries to transport goods to various locations Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, following safety protocols Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
Experience
Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with curtainsidre lorry experience Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) licence is essential Previous delivery driver experience is an advantage Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
