Responsibilities

Operate refrigerates lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules and minimise delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Communicate with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during transport. Provide exceptional customer service when delivering goods, ensuring client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
