Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our logistics team to start ASAP.

UK Container Work

Lorry based in Biggleswade, mostly running out of Felixstowe.

Majority day work with some early starts.

5 Days one week/6 Days the next or if preferred 5 Day week.

Duties

Container Work UK Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery receipts. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with Container work is advantageous. Valid driver's licence with appropriate endorsements for commercial driving. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.

Pay: 42,000.00-45,000.00 per year
