We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. Duties

Operate flatbed/Curtain side in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order before each journey. Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with flatbed lorries. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items and securing loads. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
