Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries.

Responsibilities

Drive and operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, securing loads appropriately for safe transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid HGV licence. Familiarity with flatbed lorry operations is advantageous. Strong navigation skills and knowledge of local roads and routes. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service while on the road.

Pay: 180.00-200.00 per day
