Job Summary

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of food products from our manufacturing facilities to distribution depots. The areas you will be delivering to will be Scotland, Bristol and Milton Keynes. You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our products, ensuring compliance with all safety and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in accordance with Road Traffic Acts and company policies. Ensure timely delivery of food products to designated locations. Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and complete relevant documentation. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Follow designated routes and delivery schedules. Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams. Ensure the secure and hygienic handling of food products during transit. Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management

Skills

No experience needed as full training is provided Strong navigation skills and knowledge of local routes. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members. Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license. Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
