Job Description

MWF Transport is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small team based in South Shropshire. We are an expanding business run alongside a farming enterprise and require a driven person with a can do attitude to progress with us.

The role will consist of curtainsider work as well as tanker work, moving liquid fertiliser from the port to farms throughout the UK. Previous experience is preferred but training can be provided. The tanker work is non ADR but good common sense is essential for this role. The tanker work is seasonal so curtainsider work will fill the gaps. We also run bulk tippers on TASCC work so may need to fill in on this from time to time.

This a full time position, Monday to Friday and the possibility of weekend work if desired. Nights out will be necessary and the standard RHA rate of 26.20 per night will be paid.

Requirements:

Must hold a valid UK HGV 1/C+E licence No more than 6 points on licence Hold a current valid Driver CPC & Tacho cards Understand and able to comply with drivers hours and WTD legislation Carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly Excellent communication skills Able to utilise technology as work is sent via an app
The successful candidate will need to take care and pride of the vehicle allocated to them. We run a one vehicle, one driver policy.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
