Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid commercial driving licence and have experience in delivering goods efficiently and safely. This role involves operating flatbed vehicles, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance on the road.

Responsibilities

Operate Bulk tippers and Walking Floors for the transportation of goods to various locations UK & Europe Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Uphold a professional appearance and conduct at all times while representing the company.

Experience

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record. Experience operating flatbed vehicles is advantageous. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
