Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial driving, particularly with curtain/amazon/tesco, and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing the company positively.

Experience

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for curtain operation. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is advantageous. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
