Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods across various routes. This role requires a valid commercial driving licence and the ability to operate flatbed vehicles. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our reputation for excellent service.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Attention to detail when handling paperwork and ensuring compliance with delivery protocols.
